Halloween House Decorating Contest
Do you enjoy decorating your house for Halloween? If
so, unpack your pumpkins, skeletons, witches, ghosts
and goblins and start turning your home into a haunted
mansion. Pleasant Dale’s annual Halloween House
Decorating Contest will be held the week of October
21st-25th. A team of ghost busters from the park district
will make nightly rounds to select the winner. Homes
will be judged on curb appeal, originality, creativity
and spookiness. All decorations must be installed by
the homeowner and family members. A prize will be
awarded to the winner. To enter your home in the
contest, contact the front desk at 630-662-6220 with
your name address and contact information by Friday
October 15th. By entering you agree to having a picture
of your home displayed on Facebook.

Halloween Boo Bash
NEW DATE!!
Dress up as your favorite princess, pirate, superhero, ghost, or
goblin and join us for some Halloween fun! This event will include
games, a pie sized pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, treats, a
costume parade with prizes and more.
4:30-5:30 PM - Ages 2-4 with parent
6:00-7:00 PM - Ages 5-8 (K-2nd Drop Off)
Pre-registration required by October 11

for everyone! Local Vendors: Shop from a variety of local vendors
offering specialty items and unique gifts. Food & Refreshments:
Snacks and beverages available for purchase. Bring your family
and friends for a fun-filled day supporting local talent and small

Pleasant Dale Home Run Series
It’s that time of year again! We are getting ready for the World
Series! Sign up with friends to test your own skills in wiffle ball.
(we are playing inside) You will get to participate in different
games and drills in our gym. A treat bag to go is included. Don’t
forget to wear your favorite team’s baseball jersey or t-shirt if you
have one. This is a drop off program. For Ages 8-10.

Tree Decorating At Walker Park
Become part of a community tradition. Purchase a tree to
decorate with your family, organization, or business. All trees will
remain on display at the park district throughout the holidays.
Registration includes a 5-6 foot tree with stand, electrical for lights
and a sign with your name. $10 from each tree purchased will be
donated to Toys for Tots.
Register and pay by 11/18.
